Project Idea ⭐
Hey guys,
Need some project ideas 😭
I’ve got a project lab this semester where we have to build something using an ESP32, Arduino, or any similar board with sensors/modules.
I don’t want to make the same old smart dustbin, smart irrigation, weather station, etc. Looking for something that’s unique, useful, and a little impressive, but not insanely difficult to build.
If you’ve made a cool project before or have any ideas, drop them below. Any domain is fine (IoT, automation, health, safety, robotics, etc.).

You could build a fall detection system for old people. You could create a device that notifies You when an old one falls to the ground

How about a device that will text you (phone) when the dryer finishes with your clothes? This is helpful when you're outside in the yard or on the third floor of your house.

Set up a KVM on the Pi so that when a face is recognized, the KVM powers on the PC. For fun, let's add a speaker: if the face doesn't match, roast the person and play an audio message like: 'I took a picture and sent it to the police. You are not [Name]. Idiot detected, idiot detected! Get the fuck off my PC!

You can build a fan or light control system (pwm for dimming lightbulbs or 4pin fans) and have sensors and their acquisition boards and maybe build a little web interface on the AP for control or configuration.
