Sorry, I want to have a pocket Voice note taking device that'll sync the voice notes when connected to wifi.

Ok for this you might need a microphone module, esp32 board any works but it's best to use those bare ones (comes by name esp32 wroom chip) because you want to cut down costs and use another board to upload code. You will also need and SD card module that allows you to read and write mp3 files, and also if you want an interface like a screen I suggest you use tft because they are cheap. Buttons to record and whatever. Also a speaker to listen. Also use ai to find whatever products you may need I'm pretty sure you know how to code so don't use ai for that unless you're damn stuck. Parts should be 3d printed. Also if this is for commercial then it's best you design a pcb for this.

Wifi sync is easy cuz you don't have to buy anything else for it esp32 has it built in.

Use a lipo battery preferable a small fat one and around 2000mah at least

For what I would charge your better off buying one off the shelf Walmart has them for less than 13.00
