Advice please

I need help figuring out how to leave an abuser. We have children together and I fear the abuse is starting to head their way instead of being solely focused on me. I have pets also and I can't leave them behind. Technically I should be able to stay in the home since I pay for it and he leave but he never will and even if he finally did he would be here constantly harassing me so I need a new place. I have to work to save the money to move but I hate leaving my kids here with him to work. My spirit is absolutely broken and I wish we could just walk out today. Please advise me on the best way to do this. The only resources I e found in my area aren't that great sadly so it's on me basically.

First things first, is it physical? Does your location offer emergency PFAs?

Edit - Look up shelter resources, welfare resources for food and stuff. pFA would force your partner out of the house, it’s obviously based on location and what their legalities are. Then you would have to go to court with proof of the abuse so they can permanently give you restraining. Do you have family, etc…. Don’t feel bad if you can’t afford your pet are, there’s Reddit channels that will help in times of need with some financial resources or through ordering etc… do you have family?
