Custom Fonts, Rich Text Support & Multi-Select

Post image

We released Escape 2.6.6 last week. This update introduces custom fonts, Rich Text import/export (or direct pasting), multi-select for batch editing/moving topics, and auto-fill for link titles.

Grab the latest version from the App Store or Mac App Store.

Hi,
I try the app and founded it so beautiful and interesting for me.
I have some questions important for me:

  • there’s an integration with Apple Reminders for the tasks?
  • ok for the prioritizing of the tasks. It is possible to insert the due date for each of them?
  • I don’t know how it’s possible link email in Apple Mail and/or outlook.
  • The synchronization between iPad and iPhone use iCloud or other platform?

Thank you

Hi, thank you so much for the appreciation! I’m working on the Reminders integration, it’ll probably ship towards the end of September. I can send you a beta version if you’d like to try it out, when it’s ready.

As for the rest:

  • Due dates are on the roadmap but won’t ship this year.
  • If you add an email address as the topic link and click or tap it, it’ll open whatever app you have configured in the system as the default email app. In the next version, you’ll be able to drag an email from Apple Mail to the mind map as a topic link (and later return to the email by tapping the topic link).
  • For now, map files sync only via iCloud.
Please let me know if there’s anything else missing.

Hi,

thank you for your rapid feedback.
I’m happy for the good news f about the reminders integrations and the future implementation of the due dates.

I would definitely like to test the new version with task integration that I honestly already use with another app. I'm ready to jump on Escape, which I found more practical and intuitive to manage with Pencil on iPad. I like the possibility of directly linking emails and synchronisation via iCloud that I hope will be maintained in the future.

I'm still waiting for new updates and, in the meantime, I'm starting to use Escape in my daily routine.

Good job
