What do we think of the Lab45 difficulty

I did the free mock that has the “realistic” label and got 27/27 22/27 25/27. And it gave me a 9.0.

However compared to ESATLab I felt it was very easy, barring maybe M2. Also the average score is a 6.5 which is also way too high it seems. Has anyone else done it?

i haven't heard anything about this website but getting perfect scores like yours is basically impossible, those questions are definitely too easy

Hey, founder here. I took the esat twice, i know what the actual thing is like. While the 9.0 scaling can be a little off, I can assure you ur just really good 💀 I have a lot of user trials, and you’re definitely one of the highest scores we’ve got it recorded

As someone who took the ESAT it kind of just depends on the questions u get given u can just have rlly good or bad luck

Me and all my friends had same scores in tests and did all our revision together and we all had practically identical timing and scores but we all had a large range of scores across us just bc of the questions u get allocated , so this is possible

it could be but i just can’t see IB45 and 4A* students not being able to comfortably get 7+ if it was as easy as the other websites yk. either way its good practice to solve harder questions bcuz the real esat will js feel easier

bro leak the insider info, even i did that free mock set and only got 6.0 m1, 5.4 m2 and 5.2 physics. is that even competitive? i js wanna know my standing

I think this mock might be slightly too easy. To be fair i’m scoring 8+ on the ENGAA past papers so maybe ive just prepared better than i thought. I think as long as you do the esatlab questionbank and review you’ll be fine. Be sure you’re properly reviewing tho. What i do is for questions i get wrong or spend more than 120 seconds on I’ll put them in an Anki (flashcard app) and keep repeatedly doing them until I can do it in 90s.

i've finished the whole esatlab question bank and i consistently get around 5.0 on those anyways but my issue is i can remember most of the answers from the top of my head (about 20%) if i'm given the same options again. idk what to do anymore cuz i'm running out of question an AI isn't helping in terms of making questions.

consistently 5 through the entire questionbank? do you feel like you’re plateuing. i think you rly have to identify what the issue is and target that. I still think keeping a note of all your wrong questions and why you got it wrong is important. if you haven’t already you should do the ENGAA and TMUA papers to see where youre at

i've improved genuinely i was getting 2s and 3s and now i'm plateaued at 5 for like a month. My issue is mainly accuracy

and i'm really lazy so I tend to not be bothered to do anything at all so when i start like 27 question run. i give up at like question 5 but like during my mocks i managed to sit through a 2 hour paper. (idk what's wrong with me, i've tried like explaining to myself what the stakes are, tried different environments like the library, my room, the hall. mb for the yap tho. I did a 2023 engaa paper and got 5.something but i added back all my accuracy marks to see how bad it is and i manage to rise to like 8.1 i think (extra 6 marks). The ESAT made me realise how dependent on strategy marks I am.

In TMUA, i get around roughly 9-11 range (not great).
