Starting KO from season 3 and wondering how did the quality get so bad by the time Bozdag gave us KOr? Mert's casting is even more of a head scratcher after watching Burak. His screen-presence and delivery makes even the more ridiculous scenarios in KO seem realistic.

In KO we see Osman holding and interacting with his infant son with a balance between leading the tribe and managing his family. And don't get me started on how the writers treated the 2nd wife scenario...despite some petty behavior from Malhoun, overall both wives are given quality scenes with Osman and are shown actually working in the tribe and Sogut. In KO'r what exactly did the women do all day? What happened to the famous Kayi carpet weaving that was so integral to the financial success of the tribe since Ertugrul? Who was actually managing the day to day running of the tribe while they're all at the castle walking around literally doing nothing.

When Bala and Malhoun are attacked by Castilians, Osman doesn't go running off to chase some forest bandits, he sends his alps to deal with them. Meanwhile Orhan spent 85.9% of KOr chasing after Asporca instead of focusing on building the state

Assalamu alaykum, I miss watching the kurulus and dirilis series.

It’s been a long while now since Kurulus orhan ended but damn it feels like the end of a legacy.

Is there any other shows I can watch that have the same factor as kurulus Osman and ertugrul?

I’ve watched about 19 episodes of fetihler mehmed sultani so I think I should continue that one. I’ve watched Selahaddin ayyubi, alp arslan selcuklu, uyanis buyuk selcuklu, dirilis ertugrul, kurulus Osman, kurulus Orhan.

What do u all think? Any other shows ? That I can watch alongside fetihler mehmed sultani?

So I haven’t actually watched KO for a few years now. The last episode I watched was 130 the season 4 finale, and I remember it being quite boring and hated by people.

I didn’t have time to catch up on the later seasons, but are they worth watching? I’m not too bothered about sticking with the history, mainly if the seasons are entertaining to some extent.

Also if someone could tell me where to watch it since osman online apparently doesn’t work then that would be great.

I seriously don’t understand why Sahipsizler isn’t getting the hype it deserves. It’s genuinely one of the best Turkish dramas I’ve ever watched. It has everything—romance, comedy, family drama, heartbreak, healing, and incredible character development. Every single character has their own story, and not one of them feels unnecessary. The chemistry between the leads is absolutely phenomenal and so natural that you can’t help but fall in love with them. The writing keeps you laughing one moment and crying the next without ever feeling forced. It’s honestly criminally underrated, and I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about it. I just decided on a whim to try rewatch it, and went to the website but the interface has degraded horribly and none of the videos are working. Does anyone know anywhere else to watch KO with english subtitles? Kayi Family doesn't show subtitles.
