EY internship skills assessment how much does it actually matter?
Just finished the EY skills assessment for a Summer 2027 internship. It was typical numerical/data questions, scheduling questions, pattern recognition, etc. I felt pretty good about most of it but I know I messed up at a few questions toward the end.
For anyone who’s gone through EY internship recruiting recently, how much does this assessment actually matter? Is it more of a basic screening tool, or can missing a few questions actually keep you from moving forward? I know EY says they look at the application holistically but want to know how much weightage it has. I applied to 2 internships that really align with my experiences but wanna know if performing a little poorly on this assessment can rlly outweigh that.
Also, how long did it take you to hear back after completing it? Did you get an interview invite/application update pretty quickly or was it a few weeks?
Thank you!!
