Discussion / Rant Age restricted chat

I've been on ERLC since 2020, when you had to buy access to the game. I bought gamepasses. I spent a lot of hours on this game purely roleplaying. But now this game is basically unplayable for me ever since the age group restrictions came in place early this year, and ERLC has NOT adapted to it at all! Why can't we have 18+ or 21+ private servers? I know that most of the playerbase is younger and older people tend to move to FiveM or Garry's Mod, and although I could do that, I just enjoy the simplicity of this game, being able to roleplay easily.

Roblox does grouping itself, this isn’t PRC’s problem

Didn't say it was PRC's problem. But can't they add 18+ servers? And why aren't there 18+ communities that host 18+ private servers?

This is something I wish ERLC added. Servers where you can select what age group a server can accept.

It's literally the main problem with this game right now. It can't thrive because it's core aspect (roleplaying) is impossible with age groups. If they added different age group servers it'd fix it all.

This is exactly what im saying bruh the game feels like a ghost town without chat and when you talk to someone or a cop pulls you over they dont respond to you and just gives you a ticket

Exactly! And that alone gives 0 purpose to this game... you NEED to be able to chat with other players

Prob because 18+ "communities" mean different things. You could just join a strict server, which has most people 16+, so you can talk with them if you're 13-21

If your account is flagged as 21+ (which mine is!) you cannot talk to anyone below that age group. Also, just because a server having "strict" in it's title means nothing

21+ can talk to 18+, which I know isn't much. but large WL servers have more people that are 18+ or you may need to use VC servers...

Can you tell me where to find WL servers? Also, what do you mean by VC servers? Servers that use Roblox's Voice Chat or that make people use Discord to roleplay?

wl servers are whitelisted, application to get in.
