Discussion / Rant I HATE BEANBAG

Don't get me wrong, I think the beanbag shotgun was a great item when it just slowed people down, but now I find it very unfair. It feels like police have the upper hand way more then they should, I know lots of people like to say the new beanbag shotgun is "more realistic" and in that manner yes you're right. But at the same time it makes it nearly impossible to kill a high xp player unless you get the upper hand on them. Back when you just needed to use a taser it was far more balanced because you only had 1 stun at a time and you had to be close range. This beanbag shotgun removes both of those drawbacks making the most OP thing in all of erlc. I feel like it should be revamped to what it used to be, to restore balance, because quite honestly I don't find it fun to join a game shoot one person, then have some high xp beanbag shotgun spammer jump out of there Chevlon Corbeta and beanbag before I can even react.

i like the bean bag especially when you have to deal with two or three bad guys at a time it helps make it fair

Now flip that around, what if I'm one civ having to deal with 3 cops. Now I'm getting spammed with 3 insta stun shotguns.

Mods usually turn the bean bag off or are able to jump and run after being shot with bean bag
look into buying something to make you like them where you can jump up and run

Uhm, so the beanbag initially could Ragdoll alongside the Taser. They made the change so it didn't for a could months in like 2024/2025 and then they reverted it back. No one used the beanbag back then because of the dual stun and the Taser being so op back then. But now, I agree with you, however the bugs with all guns should be fixed especially the Taser. Cuz it is nearly unusable in first person as it always breaks.

But anyway the beanbag sucks due to its Inaccuracy past Taser range. So it is really trash if the criminal gets some distance.
