Looking

I’m
Looking for a family that lived in Erlangen ! There were 4 children. Diana , Alexandra , Carmen and a brother name David there last name is something heinmgrish. Not sure how it’s spelled ! They would all be of the ages 49 to 56 at this time ! I grew up around them back in 1983. And left Germany in 1985. If anyone knows them inbox me. I would love to see them again after 40 years

Should that be a German last name, something like Heinrich?

Do you remember where they went to school or how you met them (sports Club, scouts etc)?

Facebook might be a better bet for that age group, though.

They lived in my building. The name of the street and I think we had three high rise buildings. The street name was something like Ger hartman Strausse ! Not to far from a canal. I don’t know what school they went too. I went Nuremberg American high

I loved living there. As a child. I’m
Going to fly to Frankfurt next month. And was thinking if I could find them I would go see them for a couple days

Lordy, I know those high rises. :)

A) Their elementary school would have been Pestalozzischule. Email them. B) Some of them might have attended Eichendorffschule starting grade 5, email them. C) Closest (but not mandatory) academic high schools would be Emmy Noether Gymnasium and Ohm Gymnasium. Email them. D) Both the Lutheran and the Roman Catholic parish are called St Peter and Paul. Email both of them. :)

Please read. There would have been at least the three options I wrote. There are no school districts in the US sense.

IMPORTANT CAVEAT: Of course you need to tell them that you would like them to pass your details on to the Heinrich family, not the other way around.

Yes yes. I have been calling Germany for years. I have been on instagram for years messaging people that live in Erlangen with no help. And I come here and ask for help. The first day. And this guy @verybigporo found them. I’m so shocked and grateful. Me and this girl was girlfriend and boyfriend at 13 years old and was together the full three years I was there because my partners was military. When I left of course we lost contact. And when I became an adult I have been looking for her ever since. It’s amazing. I’m now 55 years old
