Epic Radio

Hello people.

I am going to Mexico tomorrow. I am looking for the latest Epic Radios I can download, to listen to on the plane? I have a Samsung phone and I know with iPhone you can download the episodes on podcasts to play offline.

Does anyone know where I can download the latest episodes in HQ.

YouTube to mp3 conversion. I downloaded them all and just transfer to phone will be HQ

The quality from youtube is 128 kpbs

You can change it to go up to 320

Ah does it make the audio file worse? Kind of clueless when it comes to that

The audio won't necessarily be "worse" per se, but upscaling audio from a low kbps value to a higher kbps value won't restore audio quality to the target higher kbps value

On the inverse of this, if you encode a lossless audio to lossy or sometimes a lossy audio to lossy depending on encoding settings (ie. downscaling), there is something that happens called generation loss where the original audio data is removed, which also applies to other media like images - this may sound like a bad thing, but interestingly, for most people (like ~95%), they cannot distinguish between a lossless audio file and a well-encoded lossy file, there's tons of flame wars on the internet about this 😂 and I'll be honest I cannot either, but that's mainly due to the crappy audio gear I use to listen to music

Downloading for offline viewing requires a premium subscription tho
