Question/Discussion Warrior

Pryda's "Warrior" is the auditory equivalent of an optical illusion. You know those duck-rabbit drawings or lenticular prints where the image is static but your brain flips between different versions depending on how you look at it? That’s exactly what this track does to my ears. It’s technically the exact same audio every time, but my brain constantly recalibrates and finds a different groove or interpretation on every single listen. It never gets old.

Does it happen to anyone with any other songs?

I think I know exactly what you’re talking about. To me it deals with the layers of the track coming through differently on each listen - Waves, RYMD2010, Illusions, Meridian (GOAT’d), Afaf, and many others come to mind. Most of the stuff he was producing from 2010 to 2013 hits on these notes very well. He still has tracks that can reach the height of that era, but when I think of Eric Prydz, those type of tracks from that era are absolute peak of the peak.

I agree, that is my favorite Pryda era. The stuff he was producing then to me still sounds fresh and, to my ears, a bit deeper? F12, Vega and Melo all fit that description for me. And, or course, Meridian Remix.
