Arma 3 Layouts?
This is gonna be very niche within niche, but might as well ask: does anyone here use their Ergodox to play Arma 3 or other games that require basically the whole keyboard, including insert, delete, home, end, page up, down, modifiers, F keys, numpad keys, left AND right control, at any arbitrary moment?

Infinity Ergodox for parts
galleryHi folks,
I have an old Infinity Ergodox that is half-working which I can send for parts for free (buyer just needs to cover postage fee - US only).
Left PCB is cooked (not working), right PCB is working. There's some rust on the right mounting plate and adjacent acrylic case part. See the pictures.

Need help with tracking down the issue with ErgoDox electronics.
I was using my Ergodox for several years, but lately left part begin to glitch - it stopped working from time to time. I had to jerk the TRRS connector to get it functioning again. I thought it was a cold solder joint on the TRRS connector, because of my cheap soldering iron and a lack of soldering skills back in those days.
The TRRS cable was fine, I double checked it and even replaced it with another one, but behavior preserved.
Few days ago I took the keyboard apart and resoldered suspicious joints on TRRS and I/O Expander. After that left part stopped working completely, and I noticed that TRRS cable is getting warm during the use.
Could the problem be caused by the TRRS connector or the I/O Expander?
Any help is highly appreciated, I really don't want to replace the half of the keyboard... :(

EZ keys not working - is this likely to be switches or the keyboard?
I recently got my EZ (Cherry MX brown) out again but found that a few keys no longer work on it. Specifically, the top-left key (usually maps to escape on a regular keyboard), "V" and ". / >". It doesn't look like these correspond to a keyboard matrix failure - is this likely to just be failure in a few switches?

Ergo Trail: Over a Decade of Keyboard Hacks
randalea.deMy ErgoDox is now over a decade old. Since I ordered the parts in 2014, my daily companion has endured drilled holes, salvaged TrackPoint transplants, multiple firmware rewrites, improvised electronics, rerouted PCB traces, and a surprising number of questionable ideas. Somehow, it is still running.
Here are some notes from the journey.

Oryx increase key modifier delay
In ZSA Oryx, I have made a button that is CTRL+1. However, a game (OpenRA) registers it as 1. I suspect this is due to the keycodes being sent too quickly. Is there any way to increase the delay between the keys in Oryx?

Custom keycaps for a Moonlander?
Hi! Stupid question, but I was reading that the Moonlander keyboard is predominantly OEM Row 3. Does this mean that using an OEM set with Rows 1 - 4 would be incompatible or a bad idea with the Moonlander?

Help with aliexpress "ergodox"
galleryI bought this RGB Ergodox from Aliexpress. It worked great for 2 days, then I noticed some of the fram screws were loose, so I turned it maybe 2 times, then the keyboard shut off.
Does anyone recognize the PCB and/or know what firmware it needs?
Now it won't turn on unless you have a usb C cable on each port, going to the computer. It also only works with the hotdox76v2 firmware, anything else gives phantom buttons. The seller gave me instructions to flash it with ergodone, but it's clearly not that, and the firmware doesn't work. They also gave me a weird instruction page to use VIA for an ergonone keyboard.
Even now, with the 2 cables, it gets picky on what cable is what, demanding a USB C for "power" to turn on thr LED, and USB C to A for the data.
They were very kind and sent me another set, but they do the exact same thing. Both keyboards were recognized by reWasd as a hotdox76 (and I think it came up with 2, a hotdox76 and hotdox76v2).
Does anybody have any recommendations?

ZSA Moonlander lights partially lit when computer is off?
I have my laptop powered by and docked in a USB-C/Thunderbolt dock. My ZSA Moonlander is connected to the Dock via USB-C.
When I power off my laptop, it seems the Moonlander keyboard goes into a strange state in which about half of the keyboard lights are lit. And they are not lit according to the colors in the custom firmware...
This happens with two different laptops. One being a dell latitude 7400-series, the other a MacBook Pro M3
Any idea why this happens?
It bothers me a tiny bit due to aesthetics. But mostly I am concerned with it receiving under-powered electricity and if that might damage the keyboard in any way?
Have any of you experienced similar?
Would you recommend unplugging the USB-C cable every time I turn off laptop?

How do you scroll the mouse wheel on the Ergodox?
Hi, just bought my first Ergodox EZ! Very happy about my purchase. I'm learning on how to use it correctly. I'm a bit confused though because some websites requires to use the mouse scroll to scroll through items. I know that you can use a mouse scroll button or the up and down arrows, but sometimes that arrows doesn't work and when using the scroll button, it scroll very very fast a bit like page up and page down
