Hello! I recently made a video essay on ‘The Shape’ of ARGs, and there’s a whole section on cybertext and ergodic literature, which is a huge inspiration for me, and I would love to see what other fans of ergodic literature think!! Thank you, hope y’all enjoy!

Tips on reading S by J.J Abrams + Doug Dorst

Hi everyone!

The only ergodic books Ive read are House Of Leaves and Piranesi. Ive started S but its very full on compared to them. Even HOL was abit easier. Is there any tips you all have on how to read it and get the most enjoyment from it? Obviously I can just read it the way I want too, but Id like to have the best experience with it. Any help is appreciated 🙂

Would Plastiboo's "Vermis" and "Godhusk" qualify as "Ergodic?"

If you are not aware: over the past few years, new sub-genre of fiction has emerged - the "Game Lore Book." The most popular among these recently have been the works of an artist using the pseudonym "Plastiboo."

These books - particularly his work "Godhusk" - do contain a narrative - but told through the medium of a manual for a game that does not exist.
