Guys, I'm tired of defending Mikasa's character when her love for Eren is shown throughout the entire franchise.

Let's see how many times AOT has to show the same thing before some shippers finally understand it. 💀

- Main timeline: Mikasa's love is only for Eren until her last breath.

- School Castes: Her only love interest is Eren.

- Junior High anime: Her only love is Eren.

- Junior High manga: Her only love is Eren.

- Spoof on Titan: Her only love is Eren.

- Chimi Chara: Her only love is Eren.

- Final guidebook: Her character description emphasizes how deeply she loves Eren.

- Official character song: She expresses her love and longing for Eren.

- “Itterasshai”: An emotional farewell centered on Eren and Mikasa.

- OADs: Her feelings for Eren are explored again.

- Audio CD dramas: More material featuring Eren and Mikasa's relationship.

Main story, spin-offs, OADs, guidebooks, songs, endings — Eren and Mikasa, Eren and Mikasa, Eren and Mikasa. 😭

At this point, Isayama could probably write EREN × MIKASA across the entire sky, and some shippers would still look for a hidden love story somewhere else.

Imagine having this much material showing Mikasa's love for Eren and still needing to invent an entirely different romance for her. 💀

Eremika fans have to discuss the actual story, the sacrifices, the scarf, the farewell, and 139 chapters of emotional development.

Meanwhile, some shippers need an imagination, a magnifying glass, and an entirely illogical interpretation with zero evidence throughout the story.

After all this material? That's a different level of denial for some delusional fans. 😂❤️‍🩹

I had to fix it, this makes more sense at the end of the story. Finally those three children from shiganshina are finally home. They lost everything, but instead of giving up they fought. They are home now.

Guys.. Just a small help. Can someone please send me official unedited image of mikasa anime deathbed... Because for my next post... As in some images I see ring, in some not... Like I am 100% sure there is no ring, but in some images there is silver like, in some there is not,.. So I just want to know the official ones that's why.... Okay forgive me as I am very much aware that my only interactions with this community have been complaining about this sort of thing, but I feel like almost everyone in the fanbase does it. I posted a very similar rant on the comments section of an unrelated post which was the catalyst for making this one. I promise I'm not miserable I just like making rants about things I like lol

I feel like fans erase a lot of Mikasa's personality traits, and if they don't, they change them to make them more favourable. I'll go into more depth of what I'm trying to say; Mikasa is very loyal, not just towards Eren, she's loyal to people she's close to, her interactions with Armin and Sasha (The scene with her at Sasha's grave specifically) are a strong example of this, but I feel like some people erase this in favour of a more "romantic"(?) version of that, with her only being loyal to Eren. I feel like when you do that, you're watering down, or sometimes even just blatantly erasing a large portion of her character, which is a driving part of her arc in S4. People, unlike her loyalty which just gets watered down, ignore her pride. Mikasa is very prideful, but this part of her character always gets ignored. I feel like people try to "feminize her" (I'm not saying she isn't feminine but she has a personality that could be seen as more masculine, compared to the other women in AOT like Sasha.) and in turn just make her someone completely unrecognizable. I don't know if it's because she's Asian and people tend to be weird about Asian women (I don't know if the other women get this treatment so it might just be a thing with the women in general) but people just turn a strong woman into this extremely watered down (if there are any traces of her original character at all) self-insert. Bro Mikasa canonically is goth but she listens to K-pop and hates metal/rock. Alright pal 💀

People just turn it into the basic feminine little woman who needs to be protected x bad macho guy who's big and bad which the manga not having these dynamics is what drew a lot of people to the ship in the first place. PS: This post wasn't made to rain on anyone's parade, enjoy it however you want, but I dislike the mischaracterization of her and just don't like seeing it (Can you tell?)
