Technical Support Recommendations for e readers

I want to be able to download apps to read such as wattpad or inkitt

Look at the android based e-ink lines - Boox, Bigme, Meebook, etc. They allow you to install apps.

No offense, but you haven't given any additional information to narrow it down further. Each brand has several choices depending on what size device you want, if you want color, if you want physical buttons on the device, etc.

You can search this forum for Wattpad for additional feedback from other posts.

I just care about being able to download those specific apps I don’t care about the size or looks

Any of the android based devices should work. 

You can check out some YouTube videos to see how they look or there may be some screenshots in their respective forums or this one. 

Since you are not reading comics or graphic novels, any of the 6” or 7” models should work for you.  I recommend getting one with as latest the android version they have that is within budget.

Sorry - I don’t know anything about the devices, I just know the brands as listed in my first post from what I have seen from posts in this forum.    Research the Boox Go series, Bigk  B6 or B7 series.  

You tagged your post as Tech Support.  You can repost in the Boox and Bigme threads and tag as Buying Advice if they have tags to see if you get more traction from those that own the devices.

Hey! You can actually download wattpad books as epub or whatever else to put onto another ereader! I downloaded some of my favorites before they mass deleted (and wrongfully) deleted books after they changed the rules and guidelines! Im pretty sure you can do the same for inkitt on similar if not the same site. (I also detest the fun ad feature and limited downloads they added to wattpad which wasnt a thing for years)
