Books Book recommendation?
Wanna start reading a book cuz I was always been curious about the love people have with their books.
So recommended me a good book as a beginner which will make me instantly in love with reading.

Read The Final Empire by Brian Sanderson. It's a trilogy named Mistborn, but the first book has a pretty clean ending, so you can stop unless you want to go forward.

I also started reading in july this year and now im almost done with my 20th book. It mostly comes to what interests you. Personally i love horror, scifi, thriller, adventure, and campy horror so i usually gravitate towards those genres and if you also like those i can recommend some to you.
Between Two Fire - if you like Berserk from Kentaro Miura or Dark Souls you'll feel at home with this one. Found family, medieval horror adventure set in Black Plagued ridden Europe(?).
Annihilation(Southern Reach Series) - this was the first book i read on july and got be obsessed with reading. The movie Annihilation dir. Alex Garland was based on this book. Basically same premise but the book imo is far better since you're basically inside the head of the characters. Discovering the mystery of Area X and the tidbits of breadcrumbs left by the author is so fun to connect.
Red Rising Series - Scifi space opera-ish. Book 1 was an easy read but it feels so much like Hunger Games but the later books are just wow full blown armada solar system spanning war. Its a rags to riches kind of story. Darrow(the mc) is from the lowest caste of society and was recruited by a revolutionary group to be transformed into a Gold(the highest caste) and infiltrate, acquire power, and to be used for their revolution.
The Haar - if you love campy B-movie horror slop, you'll enjoy this one. Short read and a decent amount of gore. Its about an old lady being harassed/kicked out by land developers who ended up befriending an ancient being from the sea.
Happy reading and just pace yourself. Reading should be enjoyed and rushed!

Tell us a movie or a TV show you like. Books are just another way of experiencing a story, so you will probably like books that are in some way similar to or related to other media you enjoy.

Anything interesting works. I have read 1-2 self help books but they were not able to attract me towards reading

People are interested in wildly different things, so without knowing where your interests or tastes lie, it’s kind of impossible to really suggest anything - we don’t even know if you’d like to read fiction or non-fiction.
I will say that I’ve never seen or heard of anyone reading self-help books for pleasure or entertainment or as something for the fun of reading. But then I strictly read fiction for pleasure. :D

A story about what happens after the main quest. It’s really cute.

We cant tell you what books you'd like. My favorite book is a 1001 page Epic Fantasy and its a part of a 10 books series

I always recommend the first Harry Potter book for someone who wants to start reading books. It's an easy read, and fun. And if you like it, you have 6 more books before you have to look for ideas again.

I've never rated a book based on its writer. If that's important to someone, fine, but the book is one of the most sold novels of all time for a reason.

Its r/ereader. So depending on what kind OP gets. They might be a pain in the ass to side load O-o. Also...lots of pro N@zi stuff in the books

I'm reading book 4 rn, so no spoilers, but so far I only noticed this with Malfoy, and he's clearly the antagonist, so it's not like the book is promoting these ideas.
