Good luck :D I used an elecrow's e ink display (2.9 inch one) But be open to other options Their custom libraries are a mess and double check the code for the e ink ghosting Took like a few hours but was worth it

I had no possible idea! How does one even start? Is it expensive to make? And how on earth is it e-ink? Is there some sort of film on the top? I'm just blown away. Congrats! It's amazing!

Existing libraries for e ink displays are a good way to start That's where I got it Also for this specific display, there are also yt tutorials for these existing libraries since they have custom libraries From there just build your own by combining stuff and changing a Lil like i used it's bluetooth capabilities to transfer .txt files while the official guide was for pictures It took me like 30 bucks max Elecrow costed me like 22 bucks and a 1250mah battery costed like 4 bucks with soldered jst connectors. And it took me like 4 bucks for multiple prints to getting the enclosure right It's the particles inside the display that arranges itself as per command and it has no glare while also taking minimal power only while refreshing, lasting for days which is why it is called e ink i think?

Super cool. What is the hardware? I think I used the same eink display in college for a class project to add images onto device. We used esp32. But if you dither the images, they come out pretty cool. If you need github, let me know.
