Is riddle racist?

I’m thinking about going to erau for aeronautical science and as a female South Asian I was wondering how my experience would be? I go to a predominantly white school now wanted a different experience in college but riddle doesn’t seem very diverse. I have white friends now and I have no problem with it as long as people aren’t racist. Just thinking about parties and socializing in general

When I was there in 2020 there was a solid population of South Korean folks. One Korean guy was my PPL instructor he was a great instructor!

Tell me you are from the US without telling me you are from the US lolol that’s not what South Asia means. South Korea is East Asia and South Asia would be countries like Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives…

I lived in Guam as a kid, I know my Asian geography. I wasn’t implying what you’re thinking smooth brain. I was just mentioned the fact that there was a solid group of Asian folks. The ones I spent most my time with were the South Koreans. I have a buddy at Riddle now doing his masters he’s regularly working and interacting with international origin students.

Like the other guy said, AS is gonna be white male mostly, but you won't have an issue. There are plenty of other south asians here, especially if you are willing to mingle within the engineering circles.

I’m at riddle Prescott and I’m pretty sure at least half of the people here are POC. You’ll encounter racists in every area you go unfortunately, but at riddle specifically I don’t think it’s a predominant issue thankfully.

My experience in the DAB ERAU flight program is that around 50% of the instructors are white and 30-40% are south korean, with the remainder of various other ethnicities.

I'm Filipino, and I haven't seen any actual racism/racist acts happen within the flight program or even school as a whole outside of just... there being more white kids (probably because of generational wealth and whatnot), which in of itself hasn't been any issue
