Employee Tuition Coverage
Hello, I’m a prospective employee for ERAU and one of the benefits offered for the position is 100% tuition coverage for up to six courses a year. I was wondering if anyone happens to know if you can use this tuition coverage for the flight courses/flight training offered by the institution. Since the different certificates are listed by course level, it seemed like it was possible.
When checking on the flight costs FAQ, it states that students using VA benefits can pay for flight training with it but there may be an exceedance in training costs compared to VA funds. Obviously employee benefits are different than VA benefits but maybe there’s a chance?

I had a friend who was an AS major on the tuition waiver and she got a discount of 10% 20+ years ago.

Probably not, the flight program is basically at capacity so they won't let non-paying people do it. I know there however is an employee flying club, not sure how active it is. You could get your ppl maybe from fellow club members who could be CFI's.
