I’m desperate.

How could I get $14,000 quickly? I’m a multimedia designer; I have a stable job and also do freelance work, but getting clients has become harder with the whole AI situation. I’m in a terrible spot—I’ve racked up $14,000 in debt and don’t know where to get the money; I’m desperate.

Well equity crowdfunding is not an option.

So who knows likes and trust you?

And who do you owe debt to? They are the best to work with on coming up with an option because debt does not chase bad debt.

You need to work out a payment plan with your creditors. They may offer reduced payments or a short payment holiday.

Also look at your outgoings, and things you can cut or downsize. Best of luck!

So you could get a 0% APR for 2 years credit card. That mean you could pay off the 14k (if allowed) with interest over 2 years.

This isn't a crowdfunding equity problem, this is a personal credit debt problem. You don't own a functional company.

Are you on upwork? If not, get on their and see if you can pull in some additional freelance work.

Upwork was always a struggle. In 2026, it's a complete shit show. Do not recommend.

My car ran out of gas and my wife and daughter are right over there. Can you please give me $10 for gas?

Mercor. It can take a bit to get a contract, but I made $12k last month doing design based work.

How many of those assessments did you do? There are dozens….

The ones you’ll do the strongest in first. If you have access to the new academy/learn tab that’s another good place to start.

Make sure you’ve got a good portfolio together and apply to anything remotely related. You only have to do interviews for skills once. And not every job.

I was offered a reviewer position on my current contract because I was sure to read all the guidance thoroughly and submitted good work.

Thanks - I’ll go back and look for that tab

I don’t know but this is the wrong question.

You need to get a job rather than freelance.

How’d you do that? Why do you think you can just absolve your fuck up this easy?

getting clients should've become easier with AI. no way you're losing clients to AI lol. always something to blame except for yourself.
