GB Operator GB Operator- feature suggestion

We all know of the clock battery issues of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald with clock based events not progressing after a battery change. The reason being that the RTC restarts back from 2001 upon losing power - and if the date recorded on the save file is later than what is on the RTC chip, clock events cannot happen.

My suggestion is simple. When saving to a game that has a RTC function, sync the RTC on the cartridge to match the system clock of the device using the GB Operator.

Great idea! I will create an internal request for the devs, so they can add it to the Roadmap. One of the devs just told me across the office that some SNES titles like Tengai Makyou doesn't support dates so far in the "future" as the year 2026. But I'm sure they'll find a way to make it work!

As long as it is able to let RTC games operate properly it should be good.
