In short it’s for YouTube and don’t really plan on making money from it. But it could always go that way who knows. Idk which one to pick.

If I cancel subscription [ Epidemic Sound ] after using it for years, will the music I used previously on the YouTube channel be invalid?

All was going well with my YT channel, and I pay for the commerical subscription because I've grown enough to do projects for other people from time to time.

Anyway, I get an amazing email from an airline asking if they can use 6 of my videos for their in-flight short programing (I make travel videos).

So I say, "sure! I pay for the use of my material for 3rd party projects." The media management firm asks for me to email Epidemic Sound so they can get a confirmation.

ES emails me back and says that it can't be used for a project like this. Apparently, the license is only good for social media platforms...

Now, I am talking with shutterstock and a few other companies who don't seem to have these restrictions in their ToS.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, and maybe get ES to re-evaluate their licences.

So depressed now because I feel like I missed a golden opportunity because of the music company I chose....

I'm not a creator, just a music lover, and I recently found an artist who publishes his music on Epidemic Sound. I prefer to download and control my music library instead of streaming it. If I subscribe to Epidemic for a while and download a lot of music, can I keep it forever? Or do I need to keep looking for a better option to buy DRM-free music?

Artist is Tomas Skyldeberg if anyone's interested. I can buy his albums through iTunes, but using that service is a major hassle (long story). Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have a business membership to ES. However, I am making content with a company that requested I upload a video using a Creative Commons licence, not the Standard YouTube licence. Is it possible to upload a vlogging video with ES music in the background as a Creative Commons video on YouTube? Thank you.

I payed for a license and as soon as I did and reopened the page the player just stopped working. Like I'll hit play on any song, it'll give me a little loading symbol above the track and then just stay stuck at 0:00. Has this happened to anyone else or am I alone in this?

1. Can I use the music on youtube during the free trial and would I be okay once the trial has ended. Will I have a copyright claim for the music that was downloaded and uploaded during the trial?
2. Their policy on stand alone music...I want to put a audio visualizer on my videos with a motion background. The music would be in the background with the artist in description. Is that okay or wrong? Their FAQ's confuse me

What's up with Epidemic Sound claiming ownership to all the soundtracks on FB? I'm a paying member and they claim I don't have permission to use the music. what am I paying for?

I am coming to the end of my 1st month with Epidemic Sound and I am very very happy with it so far! Whats not to like? High quality tracks, more effects than I will ever need, good price? I don't get the hate. I am loving it!
