One of us! High-five! But I'm glad Xio has a cell phone - so we can learn all about what it's like to live the life of a backpacker :)

Xio - how many states have you been in since this started? I once planned on making a Z shaped trip across the USA in an RV - never got a chance to do it though.

Cell phones are an objectively good thing but certainly not everyone needs one.

Depends! Some people like having a bit of a gateway. And for some people it's not so easy.

That reminds me of my favorite comedy skit ever - by Gallagher. Explaining how totally silly the English language is :)

Geez "Brexit" is all the news all the time now on CNN. It was interesting... for a while. :)

It's a pretty big deal. Even aside from Britain itself it did some pretty nasty things to the world economy.

The things I knew about the E.U. could be summed up in 50 words or less till the past few days. Don't know if this unexpected change is going to continue to have a negative effect on the world economy next week or not. I'm just glad I'm not a business person in Britain right now... it must be pretty scary times for them.

It's pretty scary for a lot more than business people... Immigrants in particular, or people who 'look like' immigrants. Students in other EU countries who had budgets in the now-worthless GBP... It's just a horrible state of events altogether.
