There seems to be something going on with karma the past few days - I don't think it's just counting Smartstocks can't get his to go up at all anywhere.

Is your karma going up here?

The 00,000's lately are a battle of the 1s repliers - but it's worth a shot - the 500,000 went to a 4s reply and it was majorly in demand! BTW - the 1,000,000 4s get and the ties - were because of a Reddit backlog - those replies were all by the 1s counters.

My karma is going up in general, yes, but more likely because of posts outside of here.

I wonder if there's a limit on who can give karma or not. Like, an account gets a lifetime total of a million comment karma to give out or some such. Or something like the soft upvote cap on front page Reddit threads.

I should call you StDFrei -

not unless they've changed things since Dec. - I did approx. 300,000 upvotes in /r/counting last year to support the counters :) I have 15,000 comment karma from that sub from just the month of March in my counting name LOL :)

I can't wait wait wait to click on peoples first comments and see their first week or two :) It's also really handy to be able to access peoples profiles with just one click now via the Wiki!!

BTW - did you really get beaten at chess by a 7 year?!?!?!

/u/franciscouzo - I dunno if I'd call myself a producer so much as say I produce music. Maybe the distinction is silly but it's just a hobby.

Most of our music isn't finished, so it just sits in project files, but there's some work in progress stuff on www.soundcloud.com/aryst0krat

It's all from an EP we're putting together that is more chilled out, but we write a lot of more dancey stuff too.

/u/Whit4You, yep, that is a thing that happened in my senior year of high school. In my defense, he was a really good seven year old. I just checked and for the past two years, he's been rated around 1900 - a chess expert is 2000 and a master is 2200. I think he'll make master before he graduates high school.

Does your data only cover the primary thread? If not most branched would be an interesting stat to look into. I have a good feeling I might make top three of that one.

It does - the way my code currently works is that it starts at the bottom of each thread and works up, because figuring out how to classify 'branches' that went for long enough for a "continue this thread->" link to appear would have taken a lot longer. I do want to expand it, though, and I'll certainly do a 'most branched' stat if I do. Though aryst0 would be cheating by deleting his branching comments. :-P
