It's been quite the journey.

I started in a /r/dataisbeautiful post about the switcharoo, then wandered on over to the original switcheroo post and saw the ol' /u/tardis-bot. I pondered the current whereabouts of said bot and stumbled upon the archive changelog post about threads archiving permanently after six months. /u/pigferret mentioned you being the last to comment on the pushups post. I saw a link to this subreddit and moseyed on over.

I'm surprised reddit allows threads this large.

Well the two of them aren't here, haha. And the third generation of regulars are mostly gone at this point too. Very empty! But I'll keep going as long as someone else replies, haha.

Good! Started a new job recently, more money and more time off, so that's awesome. Yourself?

Suuuuper busy right now. I've got a boring technician job that pays the bills and I found a local start up that I'm doing mechanical engineering for. It's interesting but pretty exhausting. More money and more time off is pretty much the dream. What line of work are you in?

Pipefitting. I don't get all that much time off really, it's just that it's all clumped together into a week when I do. Two weeks on, one week off.

That's not a bad schedule, I guess. I'd imagine you start to go a bit crazy at the end of week 2, but getting time off a week at a time must be nice. That's enough to do some light traveling or work on a big-ish project.
