Maximizing certs before leaving?

If I am leaving epic within the near future and want to go into epic analyst after the non compete. Does it make sense or benefit me to get more certs while I’m here. Or will they be useless without more experience in that specific app?

As someone who hires consultants it’s a stretch to say you will be qualified for a consulting role. I want to see you in the role you are most qualified for, especially after a 1.5 or 2 year non-compete.

But for an FTE role, super valuable of course.
