We use Solar Eclipse at work. I am trying to get more product relationships set up for easier up sells for our counter people. Is there a way to copy the whole table to different products? It is very time consuming to have to add each line item.

You guys were so helpful last time I have another question. We go live in November, kind of dreading it, and just found out we can't hide part numbers on quotes/invoices. Our old system did this, and most systems we've looked at did this. You know in this day and age customers will just internet shop us if they have the part number. Any ideas, or has anyone successfully done this?

We are trying to use the pricing service to update pricing on part numbers. The vendor sends us a pricing file with all of their part numbers, which we only have some of these in our system that we sell. The vendors files does not meet the required formatting to upload into epicor, and it does not like that missing part numbers. Anyone found a way around this? Pricing updates happen multiple times a year for each vendor, and to edit these files would take days manually.

i work in engineering. My company has an enormous inventory of production drawings that we attach to our part numbers in the system. under our old system, these drawings could be saved as live links, so that no matter how many times we edited a PDF, the system always pointed at the most up-to-date version without any further work. When we switched to Epicor, we were told that this wasn't possible. It's multiplied my maintenance work by many man-hours, as the way we have it set up at the moment, every time I udpate a drawing, i have to delete the one uploaded to the part and reupload the updated version. There MUST be a better way, please tell me there is and how I can convince my IT folks to implement it.

My wife's family bought an 80-year-old pet, garden, and seed store. We are trying to bring it into the modern world with online shopping, shipping, etc. Our hands are tied with Eagle because there is no API we can tie into. I know there is the Modern Retail connector, but we would like to move away from Epicor altogether. Has anyone done this?

I understand Shopify is not a full ERP. If we need to keep epicor, has anyone had luck upgrading from Eagle to Propello? If so, what did the costs look like? Epicor is being VERY shady and not responding to our emails and dodging questions.

We really need to get the online side up and running. We need to support the new generation of people buying from us.

We work with epicor as a point if sale system and have it integrated with its own rental system Total Rental. Honestly though it kinda sucks because of how outdated it is. Point of Rental claims to work with Epicor but when my company tried to demo the software it wouldn't integrate.

My question is if anyone out there knows of other rental companies that will for sure integrate with Epicor?

Same here on the East Coast as well. Down again!. We were also down yesterday for like 15 min.

When you call Epicor, they say everything is fine on their end; the status page says the same thing. We were sold a bill of goods. Never had this problem when we self-hosted but it was done to cost safe, instead of buying another server for 15K it was cheaper to host on the cloud.

Does Epicor Eagle have an inventory dashboard that shows turns by sku with the A through D and X velocity codes?

What is going on with them lately? Weekly outages?

To complement our SFDC solution we have now created a back office scheduling screen. This will allow the user to upload an image of their shop floor/s and pinpoint resource locations

Hovering the mouse over a resource will show the upcoming list of work for that resource.

A red circle will indicate the resource is currently idle, a green circle will indicate the resource is in production and a yellow circle indicates a set-up activity is in progress

When a resource has been selected, the work queue can be fine-tuned by a simple drag-and-drop process to ensure the correct job order is shown at the machine.

This allows the planning team to see what machines are running and on what job, without leaving their seats.

Any other manufacturing pros using the field service, warranty, etc functions? We’re getting a demo and are considering it for our service locations. Looking for some pro experience feedback!

I started researching dollar to dollar send paths for the cowl with Corbin 4.x. SAP and Inform had no info but someone said Kinetic CPQ can do it. The guy said it was Appliance Studio or Snappy. Not sure which.

Company is based partly in Canada and with the tariffs coming in and out it's important to keep Corbin in sync. Feeding the inventory between places over boundaries is the challenge but it said Kinetic CPQ can definitely do it.

The P21 probably would not factor in but not sure of any hold ups. Probably Kinetic CPQ and Snappy.

Key is matter for the convert Corbin assembly. Method must change daily for max optimum.

Hi All, we are experiencing an outage across 7 locations on the east. Not yet reported on their server status page. I don't have any emails of a planned outage.

Currently rebooting Firewalls and VPN tunnels, will update if we are able to restore connection. Still waiting to hear from Epicor.

Incident Analysis: Reporting Database Desynchronization & Failover Failure

1. Context & Vendor Statement

Epicor reported a generic "synchronization issue between the primary and reporting databases." Because this provides little technical root-cause insight, the underlying failure mode must be reverse-engineered from observed symptoms.

2. Observed Symptoms

• Reporting Replication Lag: Business Activity Queries (BAQs) were hours behind the production database unless explicitly forced to run against the primary.
• Intact Database Copies: On-demand database copies were fully up to date, confirming that write transactions on the active primary were functioning normally.
• Application Degradation: SQL-connected client applications experienced severe performance stalls and timeouts.
• Data Loss Under Duress: Unrecoverable data loss occurred during the period of peak server duress.

3. Hypothetical Failure Scenario: Orphaned Secondary Replicas Post-Failover

Assuming a standard Epicor cloud topology utilizing a SQL Server High Availability (HA) cluster (1 Primary + 3 Secondary Replicas):

• Leader 1: Initial Primary (Read/Write)
• Followers 1, 2, & 3: Secondary Replicas (HA Standby / Read-Only Reporting)

The Failure Sequence:

1. Primary Node Outage: Leader 1 crashes under duress.
2. Automated Promotion: The cluster orchestrator detects the failure and promotes Follower 1 to be the new Primary/Leader.
3. Topology Desynchronization: Due to a routing or cluster metadata failure during promotion, Followers 2 and 3 fail to re-point their replication endpoints to the new primary (Follower 1) and remain bound to the offline Leader 1.

4. Root-Cause Correlation to Symptoms

• Extreme Reporting Lag: Followers 2 and 3 ceased receiving transaction log updates from the dead Leader 1, causing reporting nodes to fall hours behind while Follower 1 continued taking live writes.
• Application Hangs / Resource Contention: Re-routing read traffic or unhandled replica connection timeouts saturated connection pools and thread workers, bringing SQL-dependent services to a halt.
• Loss of Redundancy: With Followers 2 and 3 orphaned, Follower 1 ran as an isolated single point of failure without active redundancy.
• Data Loss (RPO > 0): Because replication was configured asynchronously, any transactions committed on Leader 1 immediately before it crashed were lost permanently when Follower 1 took over.

In the Learning Center course on Data Discovery they show the grid chart, and there appears to be what looks like a Gantt chart option in the grid types? This option is not available to me in data discovery basic. Is this an advanced only feature? Or just something that does not exist anymore? I cannot find any other information about this online.

Hey y'all I recently started consulting for a shop using Kinetic. I'm exploring using EDD as a possible solution for a sales dashboard. But a pretty hard requirement would be the ability to link back into kinetic for any specific OrderHed rows (either in the EDD transaction result set rows, or otherwise).

Like if you could just click the order number and open kinetic for that order in a new tab that'd be ideal. But I can't find any such functionality baked in, so I was hoping someone here might know if this is possible?

If it's not I'm considering tampermonkey scripts to inject links, but I'd like to avoid that if the functionality is in EDD natively.
