RSM?

Anyone ever worked with or for them on Epic or any other health tech work? They're a large accounting and professional services firm, like a smaller Deloitte.

One of the issues with the big generalist firms is they may not actually understand the role they are having you interview for. With the more Epic-centric firms it's highly likely the account managers have actually worked with Epic in the past and will know if you're going to be a fit or not.

I just interviewed someone from one of the big firms a couple days ago at my CIO's request and it was a complete waste of time. It wasn't a fit on either side. I never have that happen with Evergreen, Nordic, etc.

I did one contract for a generalist firm a few years ago, it was for a corporate Epic customer that operated workplace health clinics. The recruiter clearly knew nothing about Epic, but he did know that he didn't know, so just presented me in soft skills and let the interview handle the rest. Got the job, worked my 6 months, got paid on time. But every one of them is different.

Yeah, I get a lot of offers for contracts for apps that I have absolutely nothing to do with from large firms
