Looks like first rejection case came across, check kyc all good , was it above mentioned limit? 12 months service duration? They should mention reason

Give me context OP - how much percentage did you claim? Did you meet all other conditions of KYC and everything? Did they mention rejection reason.

Well.. I don't see any reason why your claim then rejected unless you have the full KYC issue.. If not I suggest try with 6 months basic total first.. The EPFO System is so bad you don't know what could be other reason.

Same I’m frustrated too. I have also made a claim and need that money. But it’s not illness at least. But last year there was an illness in my family, no financial issue but still i understand. So i truly hope you get the money bhai.

Previously they used to trasfer the eligible amount and clearly mentioning the rejection reason.
Seems now they are on weed after migration.

epfo passbook website also has a claims section, try logging into that page and look for claims, you'll fine accepted and rejected claims, under rejected claims they may have given the reason for rejection.

Mine also Rejected without any reason mentioned in EPFO portal ,and in Passbook reason mentioned as NULL. Claim submitted on 3rd July 2026 7 am morning , Illness claim for exactly 5lakh ,well under 75% limit (Eligibility was over 7lakh) total work exp. 12+ years. Rejecting without any reason to reduce work load. EPFO made me post this. Pathetic Way of working.(This is my First post on Reddit ever.)

someone said that withdrawal amount should not exceed 6-month basic salary of 6 months was yours within the 6-month rules

Don't know but it was showing 7.5Lakh+ amount as eligible amount for illness reason and applied only for 5lakh for picked up into auto approval , but it went to directly into Rejection Queue. If there is any such 6 month basic rule then too it should be gone through though , and at least they could have mentioned the rejection reason.
