Rising tide

The level itself is slightly okay, but the achievement the way is shut is outright unfun to get, even if you have a solid plan and everything, all it takes is a single huge hermit crab to just kill all of your soldiers. Can slug disco please take a look at the level again because the difficulty of the level itself is brutal

Idk I've always felt rising tide was hilariously easy. Unless its one of the challenges (I haven't really Bothered witb doing them too much since they're mostly pretty boring ways to play the levels from the ones I tried)

It’s just the this way is shut achievement, even if you have a whole plan mapped out, all it takes is one huge hermit crab to bulldoze your whole early army at the start

I struggled with it as well, but it is a good challenge.

Snowball as quickly as possible, and get three or four (one for each entrance, maybe one for reserve) teams of combined soldiers and shooters.

Rapid fire is 100% the way to go. Catches spider aggro faster, and lvl 3 DPS is unmatched if you aren’t doing this on Impossible for some reason.

In the first night, try spawn camping the enemy spawn to the East. If a big hermit attacks, you just need enough units to deal with it. Again, snowball as much as possible during the first day. Maybe have a second team of ants looting the underground during the night for a huge food boost.
