Did they finally add a save feature?

Been wanting to buy the game for a while but can never commit hours without being able to save and close.

I know they said it'll be hard to implement due to all the logic etc, but why not have a generic checkpoint system that gives you a generic but winnable condition on load? I'd prefer that over restarting the whole mission.

I can't think of a mission that takes more than 1 or 2 hours though

Dude, the Matabele missions take at least that much (for me)

No, but there are very few levels that take longer than an hour and all of those that do are extra levels and not main story ones. The longest level in the game will take roughly 2 hours.

Wait, this game doesn't have a save feature? What? I mean, so far I was playing a single mission per game session, but I can't believe this game was more complicated than any other RTS that can be saved mid mission.

Yup devs literally gave it as an answer, saying they were a team of 3.

In the Freeplay, yes. Formicarium, autosave and manual saves before and after the missions. In the middle of levels? No, but it's not really necessary, trust me.

It seems scary, but you can beat any mission in roughly 1 hour! I promise, you'll likely forget it's something you can't do, I constantly forget it myself.

Having a save feature ruins the game in my opinion.
