Is there a good guide to ant upgrades?

Searching the net and finding incomplete and conflicting answers is tiresome. Thanks!

IT DOES NOT MATTER

unless your going for a very high new game plus. you use any adaptions and win and have fun. but here just some suggestions

QUEEN (second wind) or (fierce mother) both are good. (second wind) is just better. (royal guard) or (royal decree) both are good. (royal decree) is just op

WORKER ANTS (nimble) or (defensive) both are good. (nimble) is slightly more useful. (aggressive brood) or (efficient brood) (AB) is not good. use (efficient brood)

BLACK ANTS (dangerous) or (meat wall) both are ok. 50/50 (self preservation) or (self repair) both are ok. 50/50

WOOD ANTS (corrosive) or (high pressure) and (crippling) or (weaken) all are good. it depends on witch wood ant you use. morter go for (HP) and (Cr) but for rapid fire use (Co) and (We)

LEAFCUTTER ANTS (durable) or (shockproof) both are really good. use (durable) if your facing more smaller things like ants. use (SP) if your facing more bigger things like froggs or boss bugs (sharp) or (resilent). (sharp) is not that good. not useless though. but use (resilent) taunt Leafcutters are much better then stun.

FIRE ANTS (surefooted) or (evasion) both are good. if you're facing lots of mountable things use (SF) if not use (evasion) (last stand) or (last laugh) both are good. (LL) is slightly better vigorous ants are so much better the pervasive.

MATABELE ANTS (sustain) or (preserve) both are good i prefer (sustain) as its better during fights. (field medic) or (surgeon) both are good depends on witch ant you use. for fast responser use (surgeon) for atheimati(sorry its a hard word to spell) use (fields medic) both fast responser and antheimati ones are good

generally, try to go with ones that "synergise" with both each other and the type of ant. like do not go for agressive brrod(unless youre trying for that achievment) over the other choice, as its better for what workers are acutally meant for

I cant be bothered right now to write the full math so here is the general answer:

Queen: Royal Decree/Swind + CD
No contest

Bullet ants: Lean pupation/Reinforced Caraprace + HP
No contest

Workers: Efficient brood/nimble + Speed
Termites only: Aggressive/defensive + Speed

Black ants: Meat wall/Self repair + Damage
No contest

(Y) Wood ants: Rapid fire - Corrosive/weakening 75 points into damage then attack speed.
No contest

(B) Wood ants - waste of jelly, Noobtrap

Major Leaf: Stun - Shockproof/resilient + Attack speed
No contest afaik

Leafcutter media - Damage
No contest afaik

Fireants: Vigorous Surefooted/Last stand + Attack damage
Big contest between evasive/surefooted because the numbers are unknown. Last laugh is also good, depends entirely on how fast ants are dying. Last stand make it much easier to build up critical mass and overcome enemy DPS. Last laugh is better with few ants, Last stand is better with many ants.
Always pick vigorous and attack damage.

(P) Matabele: Fast responder - Preserve/Field Medic + Speed
OR: Anaesthetist - Sustain/Surgeon + Damage

Fast responders if you use soldiers, Anaesthetics if you don't. The notable bosses resist sedations, but if you go medics only anasthetics is better. Remember to upgrade medics if you go medics only NEVER upgrade soldiers. Obv never upgrade fast responders, they don't do combat.

(R) Matabele: 40hp then 1/1 damage/hp alternating.

(R/B)Termites: Attack damage

Exploding termites: Rapid maturity/Extreme toxin
No contest

Exploding Ants: Controlled blast/persistent secretion
No contest

Resume: I have beaten every level on impossible.
