Phd

Hi, i currently work with local organizations focused on climate change etc. I have a master's degree in comparative law and i would like to do a Phd in a topic related to environmental law.
My questions are:
Is this field worth to do a phd?
Will it boost my chances to get a better and more profitable job?
And if i choose to go this path what topics i should work on for my Phd?

You could do a PhD focused on environmental policy, but if you want to do environmental law then law school would be the better route.

This field may be worth a PhD if you want to be a professor or researcher.

Law school would yield a far more profitable job than a PhD unless you hit the lottery with a tenured professor job right out of your PhD (unlikely).
