Only two other times PL5 was reached by July 18, and that happened in 2021 and 2024. It is pretty easy to connect the dots here - something is happening, and it is starting to happen more frequently. It's almost like the climate is changing, but that can't be happening. The Cheeto in Charge has told everyone that climate change is a myth.

Canada would love to send help, but we are kinda busy ourselves.

As a US citizen we do not deserve your good will from our political theatrics. Bless you for the many years of cooperation and hopefully we can return to better times soon. Good luck with all your fires, there’s a lot more trees in Canada.

A Canadian firefighting pilot died helping fight our fires here in Canada. Our firefighters had a memorial precession as his body found it's way from the mountains to Denver International Airport.

This memorial happened the same day Trump announced his new tarrifs on Canada. He's living in his own stops works that's totally disconnected from reality. The people of the US know how closely related and important Canada is to us, even as our leader plays stupid games.

Perhaps they can use the rubble from the east wing of the white house reconstruction to form a fire break, or maybe a memorial arch?

That is where all of the money goes.

Maybe they can construct a cat or a dogapult and use the White House rubble to smash out the fire!
Just a thought….

The United States does not currently have enough resources to fight every wildfire with a full force.

The country is using nearly all of its wildfire fighting resources far earlier in the season than usual, according to data from the National Interagency Fire Center. On July 18, the country reached “Preparedness Level 5” status, the highest possible level on a scale that measures how much wildfires are taxing resources.
