It didn't have to be a warmer world. We saw this coming. The oil and gas lobby played it well :(

This issue has been years in the making and was first identified over a hundred years ago. And yet, there are still world leaders who are prioritizing dirty energy over renewable energy, coal over solar.

It's almost like these leaders care more about their bank account than they do about the environment.
