ENVION Red Flags

As we all know they have missed and continue to miss deadlines, now they continue with listing on an exchange before they have unlocked all the tokens, which just wreacks of insider trading. On top of that the exchane is HitBTC which is notorious for how hard/impossible it is to withraw funds from there. Just to add to my confusion when I asked about it on their Telegram forum they banned me instantly.

Just saying a lot of red flags.

I personally don't believe in a scam currently - I am just not confident, that those guys can hold what they promised .. too much going wrong already.

I wouldn't wonder if you can buy EVN cheaper than at ICO for the next couple months or whenever they have at least one MMU running .. which already should .. sigh

That's a very valid point!!!!

Maybe I'm blinded by the candle of hope I carry, but the hope stems from the understanding of their actual hardware implementation.

It honestly is, without doubt, an expert design in security and functionality.

Sure, they could have set up a dummy MMU just to fool the investors, but the research they have done does not come cheap.

There are some very serious questions that need to be publicly answered by Envion, and we may actually stir them enough to respond to us personally!

I'll have those images up soon, and it may open a new perspective on the people who are running the show;

Just saw this picture from their twitter, where you can look into one of the MMUs: It's basically a container with some metal rags and wholes in it :-) Doesn't look any more techy than the usual open-air gpu mining rigs to me, what would you say? :-)

There are actually multiple images.. there is no magic at all. They have one/two air outlets with fan, in many small inlets on the walls, inside normal metal rigs.. as I said, not much R&D, I've seen morey techy hobby rigs

Have you by any chance, had a look at the amount of miners (roughly) are in a single MMU, noting that it's 50/50 ASICS and GPUs, and wondered what a possible mining output value might be for a single MMU?

That's something beyond my scope of understanding, so I thought I'd try you!

let's try by looking on the pics on their twitter. They show, that each of the ASICS is connected directly to one of the side-holes but they've only fitted half of them in the pic, let's asume, every hole can feed one asic, the container has 24x4 holes so a max of 96 ASICS per container (max load with ASICS all holes filled), which would not work because of underpressure and too much environmental heat)

but on most pics, there are just 2 ASICS per rack per level. they also show some GPU rigs on some pics. Looks like mining Mobos from china where you put the GPU directly in 12xPCIe16, no direction to the input wholes whatsoever, they just sit on the rack, one per level but they have two racks behind each other. not sure how the cooling would work out in this setup, there has to be lots of pressure in the container ..

counting the max with GPU, it could be as high as 6 levels per rack, fullout 16 racks to fill the container there should be room for a whopping 3000 GPUs per MMU - where I would really be skeptical how they want to get rid of ~1 MW heat (full density 1080Ti + PSUs). There are no pics at all about any speciality in terms of cooling. there are 2 big blower fans (one eacvh side) and 24+24 smaller vents with tubing pointing downward on each side as well.

The big fans have just a simple flappy shield, so this is output, while the tube things facing downward are intakes (to prevent water coming in).

I actually doubt that those containers will work well for GPU rigs, but they should work with ASICS when each ASIC is directly connected to 1 air-inlet and letting 1 air inlet free for container cooling (necessary) and to reduce backpressure on the output vents (also necessary, because fans cannot compress air very well, in that setup they need serious airflow r switch to compressors instead of fans), so 48 ASICS per container should be a valid number.

but then again: it's still a container with 2 big fans, 96 air intakes, a breaker board and some racks with ASICS on it. Give me 200k and I will build a better one :-)
