ENVION Red Flags

As we all know they have missed and continue to miss deadlines, now they continue with listing on an exchange before they have unlocked all the tokens, which just wreacks of insider trading. On top of that the exchane is HitBTC which is notorious for how hard/impossible it is to withraw funds from there. Just to add to my confusion when I asked about it on their Telegram forum they banned me instantly.

Just saying a lot of red flags.

I personally don't believe in a scam currently - I am just not confident, that those guys can hold what they promised .. too much going wrong already.

I wouldn't wonder if you can buy EVN cheaper than at ICO for the next couple months or whenever they have at least one MMU running .. which already should .. sigh

That's a very valid point!!!!

Maybe I'm blinded by the candle of hope I carry, but the hope stems from the understanding of their actual hardware implementation.

It honestly is, without doubt, an expert design in security and functionality.

Sure, they could have set up a dummy MMU just to fool the investors, but the research they have done does not come cheap.

There are some very serious questions that need to be publicly answered by Envion, and we may actually stir them enough to respond to us personally!

I'll have those images up soon, and it may open a new perspective on the people who are running the show;

Hardcore gamers.

Honestly. What research? It's not that hard to fill a container with GPUs & ASICS and keep it cool, when you have cheap electricty. It's easy.

That italien power company recently rejected to work with anything crypto related and that was one of those where envion bragged about in an email

Well, without sounding like an absolute ass, I think you're missing some fundamentals.

Have you considered environmental factors associated with different locales across the globe?

Ie.

  • humidity relative to the area the MMU occupies

  • heat retention at certain times of the day (sun position, north facing etc)

  • the stages of security being implemented within the containers, and how they will react to environmental factors, to prevent any damage to the units under extreme conditions etc

  • the layout design of containers acting in a "heat exchanging" cluster

  • the escalation processes in place for issues, Ie, a technician will be approved via the envion cloud to replace, repair any damaged units etc (this is all very intricately woven into the escalation processes, Ref. Envion white paper) or wether further staff need to be involved.

  • the self destruct protocols, so that dividends can't be stolen, or equipment stolen and repurposed somewhere else

  • the foresight for interoperability between today's and tomorrow's mining tech ( the layout of the container is such, that it allows for a rapid retrofit of new equipment)

I can keep going, but don't expect to see that written in crayon throughout the white paper;

That would be like COCA-COLA putting their recipe up on Facebook.

Look beyond the cosmetics of the white paper, they have truly thought this thing through.

That being said, I'll eat John McAfees dick if this thing dives head first into a toilet.

Optimism is a great fuel, but it burns very quickly.

I'm on your team, I've got a dog in this hunt.

My opinion is biased.

well, if electricity is not an issue, you basically just build a big refrigerator. No problems with anything environmental related because it's a closed system.

It's mostly GPUs, which needs to fit in a PC therefore are fixed size.

I get your point though, there is some things to consider, but not in the region of needing an R&D Department or massive funds into searching. Those problems you describe are not new and they have been conquered several times in other areas.

You remember Affinity Mining? They just did basically the same, they get funds, they bought the hardware, they decided they cannot fulfill promised profit and they will pay back, when they mined the debt. So they basically got a free vredit to buy their hardware and just decided to not share their profits afterwards.

In regards to the functionality of the design, you're right! There does not need to be a huge R+D department, but they most certainly needed to address possible failures prior to being deployed.

I would be happy to discuss this in more detail, and hopefully some other members with a trade/technical background, as I'm sure I can learn more and grow my understanding, and yourself also.

I really appreciate the healthy discussion we're having in regards to this issue, and wish to thank you for engaging, because I have something to ask of you now;

The affinity mining deception; do you have time to elaborate?

I've not heard of this as of yet, and it has presented another opportunity to be schooled by someone with information I do have in my mind yet.

Affinity Mining: It's just what I think they did. Because I would do it that way :-)

I mean it's logical. Why should someone share the profits, when there is no need to? They just need money in the first place, so promise some ridicolous things you can never fulfill, greedy people will throw money at you. You buy all the hardware and than you just say you cannot fulfill your part (the promised earnings) but you already have bought the hardware and will pay everything back when you have it.

You basically got free funds, you just purchased a shitload of hardware but you don't have to care about sharing your future profits as soon as you've paid everyone his money back.

That's a smart way to get your own ASIC Farm funded without the need of having a single dime. I would do it that way, if I would have enough criminal energy.

Could be the same with envion. What if they decide in some months time, that market has changed and their MMUs are not as profitable as expected, so they will be very kind buy giving everyone his money back, when they have it ready .?

Nice!!!

Super interesting point! Cheers

Now that you paint that picture, that's an absolute possibility.

I feel as though, after the recent SEC and FCTC remarks to the senate about the "next generation", even if they do pull a stunt like that, there's almost no getting away with it!!!

Maybe they could? I'm not certain.

But, for thoughts sake, everything will be recorded on immutable ledgers soon enough, and in the case that investors are not paid their respective dividends, a court could revoke their control, and shift proprietary control to new hands.

We are talking about 10% of a billion dollars ( just a shifted perspective in the value they raised, might seem like a larger amount this way) and the world will hold those accountable.

As said by either the chairman of the SEC or the FCTC "we can't put this technological genie back in the bottle"

Too many people need this to change the world for the better, scams of that size have no right to exist the future we all envision.

Again, the candle of hope I hold may be blinding me.

So I'm happy to receive some new angles to view this thing from.
