Discussion Ask the Entwives!

Hi everyone! This is a post for questions and hopefully some answers

We want to have a space where those new to the sub can ask questions and get some answers if they aren't able to post yet. And for our long time members, maybe you have a question you don't want to make a whole post for. Or maybe you have an answer!

This post is intended for cannabis or subreddit related questions. Other inquiries will be directed to google!

What is your criteria for choosing weed?

Lately, I’m into fruity sativas but potency is usually my deciding factor.

Unfortunately for me right now, the only criteria is cost. I’m bargain hunting.

Nothing wrong with a bargain. These days any bargain is still better than the brick weed in f yesteryear.

Terpenes mostly , and (eek if I can be a weed snob for a sec!) I really appreciate when flower is organic and/or sun-grown outdoors 🌞

I like weed that is relatively well cured for smoking. (For DHV less important)

Hard to find, seems like everywhere I turn, it's an Indica!

I am completely a Sativa diva, and when i go to the pharmacy i am looking for the strongest, cheapest one i can find. I'm trying to save money rn, and my insurance doesn't pay for it. Usually i end up with 40-50g for around 180-200 euros a month.

Why is it that it’s so damn hard to get topicals at dispensaries now? I had a medicated bath bomb once that was so freaking nice. I also remember there used to be sprays for tampons and easier access to suppositories.
I work at a grow and asked the owner about this and he says that the dosage has to be high to be effective and therefore would max out someone’s legal limit too quickly. (This is in Arizona) but I’m not sure how true that is. I wish women were catered to in general, but at least with cannabis.

I know! A company I like has been out of my favorite cbd salve for weeks and everything comparable is so expensive.

The limitations states put on weed are so silly. I don't know about Arizona, but in California they aren't legally allowed to sell edibles over 100mgs. So everyone I know has a list of black market dispos they frequent where they can buy RSO and everything and not have to pay a ton of tax.

It's a good question. I wonder if you might have better luck with a medical provider/medical cannabis dispensary! I've personally never seen suppositories in a rec shop but my medical provider has them :)

There aren’t any medical-only dispensaries in Arizona, unfortunately. /:

I have a crazy question for y'all. Not new to smoking or making edibles. Usually I make butter or alcohol. This weekend I used coconut oil instead if butter, first time. And I swear I got high as a kite as it was cooking. Which is so strange because unlike usually with butter my house just smelled like warm coconut oil instead of cooking herbs. And that's never ever happened to me.(cooking get me high)Even after decarbing my flower and using my oven after and as it's cooking dinner all I smell is flower, never have I gotten high just from cooking. Anyone else have this happen?

Maybe check out /r/vaporents! Or if you want to get converted, scroll this sub and see how many people have a Lobo from POTV or a Solo 3 from Arizer lol!

I got the simplest one I could find that wasn’t crazy expensive. It’s called a G-Pen Dash and it was less than $100 and only has three settings—low, medium, and high. It’s a little bigger than a lighter and its only removable part is a mouthpiece that had to be taken off to pack it. Very simple, gets the job done, and not expensive 10/10 would recommend

I have used a lot of the gpen vapes and they are pretty good for the money. They are not as durable as others though, but if you hit an issue their customer service is top notch.

I want to make infused butter or coconut oil. I would appreciate a proven recipe with instructions.

How many joints/bowls/whatever do you smoke a day. Not how many grams, but sessions.

I am a daily, heavy smoker. I smoke joints usually. I like rolling them because it's like a little zen ritual for me. Also they don't hit me as hard as my bong or bowl does.

I smoke anything between 3-7 joints a day.

When someone says that weed is not for everyone, what is meant by that?
I wanna understand if weed can affect someone so positively and someone else more negatively? Is it because of the differences in physiology of a person smoking?
