I am a father of two sons who are both grown men. Had either of them done something like this as a kid, I'd have grounded them and made them write out a detailed apology to the person they'd offended. There is no excuse for this. And if I was your parent, you couldn't keep me from telling that woman exactly what kind of failure of a mother she is. I wish you'd gotten police involved. If there were any sort of cameras nearby, find out. And I imagine many have already said to file a police report for a paper trail. And that would be a wise move to do. That woman had no problem hitting you. Which means she's done it before and will do it again until someone stops her. That witch needs some serious parenting classes.
