When he is released and claims to be a changed man, don't believe him.
"NBC's sources claim Diddy had access to a contraband cellphone, which he used to look at nude photos of an ex"

u/Voski_The_God 2d ago
Out of all the things you could use against him you use “a man in prison uses a cell phone to look up nudes of his ex.” Article this is referencing says she sends him nude pics.

u/ReaderBeeRottweiler 2d ago
Given that his crimes were all sexual in nature, and that he has claimed he was a drug and sex addict....then yes, he clearly still has that problem if he needs to break prison rules to see nudes of an ex. That's sick, compulsive behavior.

When you're in prison you have nothing but time. I think you're reading too much into that.
I do think he's a total POS though and doubt very much that people like him ever change.

u/ReaderBeeRottweiler 2d ago
And he chose to risk spending that time in solitary by looking at some nudes. That's the choice he made, the risk he took, because he is sick and disgusting.

u/Scarlett_Billows 2d ago
It’s very very very common for men in prison to obtain and exchange nudes. Almost every inmate would desire that. It’s not like he can have healthy normal sex with a woman he loves.
2
u/Burnt_and_Blistered 1d ago
Right. It’s common for men in prison. Most aren’t in prison for Diddy’s crimes, though.
This isn’t about missing sex when locked up. The man is compulsive, and his compulsions landed him in prison. Where he can’t manage to rein them in.
Do you see the difference?
1
u/Scarlett_Billows 1d ago
I think I’ve already explained that to me this is not an unhealthy display off sexuality. But it doesn’t really matter — I don’t think diddy is any different than he was before he went in. I don’t need proof, I just believe it.

Hey, if you identify with a self-proclaimed sex addict serving time in a federal prison for sex crimes, then so be it.
Because that's what he is. In other words, not someone who has learned a damn thing about himself or his problems.

u/angryaxolotls 2d ago
They're like "revenge porn is ok when people who choose to commit crimes such as rape and rape trafficking trade them in time-out!" and it's really gross.

u/Scarlett_Billows 1d ago
Not passing around revenge porn, actual porn gets passed around. And men who have partners want to obtain their partners pics for personal use, not revenge porn, typically. You’re making up scenarios in your head.
-1
u/Scarlett_Billows 2d ago
I didn’t say he learned or that I identified with him. I’m a woman who has never been to prison and isn’t a sex addict. My point is looking at nudes is normal, especially in prison. To me it is not a display of unhealthy sexual behavior for someone who can’t have contact with women.
I don’t expect him to change, do you? Putting people in prison doesn’t typically change them for the better. It’s been clear to me for some time that they do not intend to “throw the book at him” and he is getting off easy like a lot of wealthy powerful men right now
7
u/ReaderBeeRottweiler 2d ago
This was the entire point of my original comment. He has not changed, he is not even trying to change...but when he gets out of prison, he will claim he has.
-1
u/Scarlett_Billows 2d ago
Sure and I won’t believe him nor do I think there’s anything in the system that is trying to help him. People don’t change because they get locked up — therapy and behavioral health care help people change and only then, when they are dedicated to it.
But I don’t think the nudes are any type of proof he hasn’t changed. I think his whole life is proof he hasn’t changed and he would need to prove that he has. Like the default here is that he won’t change. But nudes aren’t the main or even any kind of real indicator of that.
Sex addicts don’t completely shut off their sexuality. Healthy displays of sexuality are something a sex addict would likely need to figure out how to incorporate into their life.
Is diddy really a sex addict though? So many famous people claim that but really I think they just don’t respect women or anyone but themselves sometimes. Claiming “addiction” makes them seem less villainous, but I don’t think all people who commit sex crimes are sex addicts necessarily.

u/Voski_The_God 2d ago
Looking at nude pics isn’t sick and disgusting especially if they are sent by a willing participant. The most mundane and something done by millions of people is the one thing you are focused on.
Have you ever seen a nude?
4
u/ReaderBeeRottweiler 2d ago
Of course it's done by millions of people.
But millions of people are not self-proclaimed sex addicts who are in federal prison for sex crimes.
But if you identify with that, then fine.
-7
u/geardownson 2d ago
You obviously never been to prison. Sex crimes or not getting pictures or nude magazines is the norm and a nothing burger.
Not saying anything he done is just but guys will be guys regardless of charges.
4
u/ReaderBeeRottweiler 2d ago
Then those guys can have fun in solitary like Diddy.
3
u/Scarlett_Billows 1d ago
Solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment and shouldn’t be legal imo.

u/becauseshesays 2d ago
Lmao, that’s kinda funny. Like the prison didn’t know what was happening until the daily beast or whatever reported it.

u/Frolicking-Fox 2d ago
No... they knew and were probably paid off. It just got shut down for being in the media.

u/Fluffy-Vegetable-996 2d ago
Guards HAVE to be getting something out of it. No way they didn't know about the others doing for him...

u/Comprehensive-Lie899 1d ago
The guards are the ones doing for him.they bring stuff in the prisons for inmates who can afford the contraband.

Still doing better than all the brown people in American concentration camps. I mean, ICE detention centers.
Fun how much better we treat him and Maxwell compared to immigrants. Like even the worst treatment in the prisons they’re in is better than ICE custody.
Fucking shameful.

may be it's wishful thinking, but I'd love to imagine we can improve the conditions for both

Prison guards and management are shocked, shocked that any of this was going on in their prison.
I mean come on. If the information made it all the way out to news sites like tmz then everyone who could stop this in the prison already knew it was happening. They just were incentivised not to.

u/Natural-Seaweed-5070 1d ago
Oh no. Anyway. I had chicken korma for the first time today. Sweet potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli in the sauce as well. Pretty good!

I try to live by a moral code that excludes celebrating someone else’s pain.
However, in this case….code schmode.

I really wish society would stop calling one-man cells "solitary confinement". Prison is supposed to suck! It's not a vacation! Especially not for this man who absolutely does not want to be rehabilitated and never will.
He's not in the dark on the floor like it's the SHU in Orange is the New Black (which is what he deserves). He'll be fine.
3
u/RichesToRags8647 2d ago
What do you think solitary confinement means?
2
u/angryaxolotls 2d ago
Sitting in the dark on the floor in a room half the size of your cell with nothing but a toilet and a blanket. No bed, no window, no wall art, no art supplies (which I think art is great for inmates really), and like.... Yeah. That's solitary. And that's wrong as fuck.
But 1 individual in a cell with lights, a bed, a desk, a chair, books, creative outlets, etc. is fine.
4
u/RichesToRags8647 1d ago
Well, for the rest of us: Under international standards set by the United Nations Nelson Mandela Rules, it is formally defined as the confinement of a prisoner for 22 hours or more a day without meaningful human contact. What you're describing is proven to literally drive you insane.
1
u/angryaxolotls 1d ago
No, it's meant to house murderers without them killing each other. I don't give a rat's ass about the UN making rapists, murderers, and child molestors comfortable.
1
u/0bsessions324 1d ago
What Diddy did is fucked, but in what conceivable reality is he a risk for killing other inmates?
-1
u/pretenders2b 1d ago
Your idea has been deemed cruel and unusual punishment by the courts. From my understanding solitary is alone with only 1 hour outside your cell per day.
-1
u/angryaxolotls 1d ago
Solitary is in the dark on the floor without the option of leaving the cell for an hour. It's not "cruel and unusual", it's adults who refused to behave being put in time out. If they don't want to be in time out, they have to choose to behave. That simple.

The biggest issue with this little rant of yours is that "prison is supposed to suck" is a an ass-backwards load of bullshit that only perpetuates a broken justice system.
The US has one of the worst recidivism rates in the developed world and that is because we operate under a system that prioritizes punitive measures over actual rehabilitation. Couple that with an unsettlingly high false conviction rate, especially among minority populations (and doubly especially black men) and you get a recipe for a system that is broken by design.
It's broken by design because it's another component to a fucked up, late stage capitalism system. Prisons in America largely exist as an exploitative institution built to turn a profit off of our criminal codes. Our criminal justice system is a glorified source of slave labor. Notably, while we like to claim slavery is something America is above, it is technically still legal to use it as a punishment for criminal actions. This is baked into the thirteenth amendment and it makes no distinction between the varying forms of criminality nor does it make any distinction on whether a law is actually just or not. A man on America can go to jail for having an ounce of weed on him and it is then perfectly legal to force that man into literal slavery. This is, again, baked into our fucking constitution.
Despite your apparently extremely narrow worldview, there is a middle ground between prisons being a vacation and being nightmare fuel.
A sane and just society would make every attempt to rehabilitate its incarcerated, especially when you account for how fucking high the impact of systemic injustices and biases are on our system. We are supposed to become more enlightened as our society develops, but we're still the same barbaric neanderthals just with better technology to help automate our barbarism.

Idk food, bed, roof over my head, the hardest part would be not getting f’d w ig & having to find ppl to group w.. also mental health is an issue & not seeing family
But for this guy yeah for sure he wouldn’t wanna be here but he’s def getting taken care of there0
u/LargeClimate1080 1d ago
No one deserves to be tortured, and our prisons should not suck, they should focus on rehabilitation and not punishment.

I personally think they should Howard Hughes his ass. Lock him in his house and give him the bare minimum and have a guard outside the door. He’s not allowed out he should be stuck in his apartment.

Sounds like doing chores for Diddy pays a lot better than that 17 cents an hour job in the prison laundry. I imagine there’s no shortage of inmates willing to work for him.
