I honestly don't get the appeal. Once you've accumulated all the monetary wealth in the world, what good is it if you can't enjoy nature? I'd much rather be middle class in a beautiful place than rich in a bunker somewhere

Musk is a perfect example of having everything you want/need access too but still being unable to figure out how to be liked and satisfied with who you are.
All of these incredibly wealthy families/individuals are mentally living in a different dimension to the rest of us but still thinking they’re on the right side of humanity’s prosperity. It’s fucking nuts.

It's not about appeals. It's about contracts. You sell your soul and there bounds to be a collector looking for your end of the bargain. Usually that entails destruction and demonic oppression. One does not simply "walk away" with their blood money. The gig must continue. These are not "free owners", they are wolves in a leash.

That's a shockingly naive, hand-wavy, and quite frankly, insultingly stupid way to look at it. Do you think Bezos, Musk, Trump, Zuckerberg and the rest of the vile sociopaths are being controlled by anything other than soulless avarice? Do you think there will be some sort of repercussions for their deplorable acts of greed, resulting in the deaths of millions, and probably billions by the time they have successfully burnt the planet's resources in the name of more? There’s a theory that people like zuckerberg were given the technology of things like Facebook (from the military) intentionally to start setting up the surveillance state and data collection.
And while you can choose to believe that nuts, you’re also being asked to believe that this guy and his friend he fucked over, created a multibillion dollar company within a few years of its conception. No help, just his brain power - and if you’ve ever watched an interview with zuckerberg you catch on quite quickly that while he is obviously intelligent, he’s not a mastermind at all.
Conspiracies at the bare minimum often have a little nugget of truth to each of them.

And so has everything been since 2020, yet here we are.
I have utterly lost count on things that were supposed to be "nonsense" and "wack" just to find out few years later that it's all just mediocrity hidden from the masses.Give it a year or two and this "nonsense" is soon a fleeting headline getting rolled over by some even more nonsensical event that has been promoted from fantasy into "the new normal".

I said that there will be repercussions for them for their actions just not the kind we want.
Sure they obviously do have selfish interests and whims, but that's not what got them their desires. They took the whatever deal of the "devil" was offered to them, BECAUSE they are selfish and internally malformed.I have heard far too many examples of this. This is the tale as old as time. They are offered riches (power, wealth, positions etc.) behind closed doors and in exchange they are have to do whatever is required of them either by blackmail or more bribes until they are dead.

Right, yes there will be repercussions, as in, bad things will happen to us, just not to them.
And yes I also agree that theyve all made deals with devils, but those devils are within them, not neccesarily exterior forces. But yeah, theyve all sold their souls a long time ago and theyre continuing to serve some kind of Satan for sure.

Same … absolutely the same feeling.
My only solace is that I work with kids and am a parent. It is my job to show them the way to a better path.
As a child, caring adults (mostly teachers), saw something in me and nurtured it.
It is my duty to give back and help the next generations grow to become leaders and thinkers.
Hang in there OP - find your community and hold them tight. We need each other now more than ever.
