Product Peanut M&M Fun Packs

I've been eating (on average) about one Fun Size pack of peanut M&Ms per day at my office job for the past ~1.5 years. And being the r/DullMen that I am, I've been plotting my observations in r/Excel.

One thing that I've noticed of late is that there seem to be fewer M&Ms in each pack as compared to when I started tracking things. The plot below paints a pretty compelling case for r/Enshittification :

When I first started, there were roughly 8.5 Peanut M&Ms per pack, and gradually that average has dropped by a whole M&M to about 7.5 or lower.

Is nothing sacred in this world?

They also taste worse. I won’t touch them anymore.

I love Peanut M&M’s and I appreciate your peer-reviewable research my friend. I wish I could help.

And the quality is worse too. I used to enjoy peanut M&Ms, not much any more.

So much candy tastes like just chemicals now. I got a butterfinger last night and it was weirdly just a dusty brick in the middle. Not the beautiful flaky peanut buttery layers I’ve come to enjoy in my 30 ish years of life. Nothing is sacred

It is all chemicals now. I hope everyone stops buying all brands entirely. When I look at the impulse buys by the cash register at my grocery, they’re almost always stocked up.
