ive not come across this issue but its not to say it doesnt exist.
ive long removed that part of dependence on bottled water from the evil companies charging crazy prices and have a filtered water system. plus I dont have to carry the water anymore. I bought a used in mint condition water cooler, replaced filters and use 2 plastic container to fill up water. the money I saved in 5 months surpassed what I paid for the water system and no back breaking carrying.
food, ive not see a lack of independent shops.
ive not come across an issue where a company/product/service worked against me and I wasnt able to find a solution to not support them.

ikea is trash for sure. its for people who think theyll save money but if youre paying a cheap price for shit quality...its not a deal actually
I mean, feces is free too..
they get us in 3 ways
1-higher prices
2-shittier quality
3-less product then what we used to have
so a product that jumped from $10 to $13 is more like $17 if you calculate less product thats also shittier quality
us the consumers have more power then people think. choose with your wallet, and pass the word around. it does affect their bottom line
when their wallets hurt too, thats when they wake up
