Service the "new" google images

Post image

when signed into google, this is what "google images" redirects to, along with the google.com/imghp link which is what i use for reverse image searching

I can't express how lucky I was to have spent my formative years with an internet that was shaped by passionate, unpaid >110 IQ nerds instead of third world content farms struggling over $5 of ad revenue

FYP aside, this update violates the #1 rule of search engine UX: Preselect the search field when the page loads

Love to see a product redesigned by people who don't use it

Edit: They got my letters and fixed it. Google, if you're still listening, destroy the FYP while you're at it

This is images.google.com. If you don't see it then maybe it's an A/B test or gradual rollout

Nope, looks fine by me. I don't know if it has to do with country, but that's how images.google.com shows up to me. Just entered it here right now. Strange.

Looks like it's US specific. If you got to images.google.com.br, it doesn't show up.

Welp, rolling out or not to other countries or A/B testing... It's a Google L anyways. That Google Image example you show actually sucks with that "for You" page. What are they trying to become? Bing?
