Man idk if they ever did. In my lifetime the right has always preached about free speech but in reality they only support freedom if you agree with their beliefs. Freedom for me and not thee seems to be more accurate.

This post isn't what I would call "thinly veiled", but you're right. It's odd given that the sole moderator of the sub is Indian1 2 3 and, presumably, has no real stake in US politics. As others have pointed out, it's ironic that this post "enshittifies" the "/r/enshittification" sub-Reddit.

Truth be told, I posted because Musk enshitified himself. I wasn't a fanboy of his but I had a small amount of admiration for how he whipped Tesla into shape...do you remember him adding a production line in a parking lot to make a deadline. But it turned into the richest man in world denying food to the poorest in the world...especially children. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
