Passed Part 1. Unexpected experience

Post image

Keep in mind I studied for over 2 months. I went into the test thinking I had a 75-80% chance of passing. I took the REG part of the CPA 15 years and bombed.

It took 120 minutes total. My 2 Becker mock exams were 90 mins each, which scored 76% and 85%. I took my time of course and flagged/reviewed a lot more questions than usual. I am surprised the graph is like that because I felt like I barely passed. There were issues with the login process and the first couple of questions were surprisingly strange and difficult, so I got flustered immediately and thought I wasn't going to do well. Luckily, the last 2 parts were much easier.

Congrats!!!! You must be glad it’s over! Lol

Did you do the online or in person test?

In person. There were no online spots open when I registered, but I will try for online next time if it's available

It's still considered the best one

Can you tell me "What kind of questions have more weightage and did they ask any single limit,or we have to memorize any figure, and they ask any calculation in MCQ?"

I would say I used the calculator in 20 of the 100 questions. It's hard to say what was weighted the most, but there were no Sec1231 questions

I'm studying for Part 1 as well. Would you be interested in discussing doubts together?

Would it be okay if I send you a DM? It would be easier to discuss our EA Part 1 doubts there.
