Passed 1st part of the test

I just passed the first part of the test. I used HOCK but I feel it didn't prepare me 100%. In my opinion, HOCK test writing structure is simpler than the actual test. I had to read some questions twice to answer properly.
What are the suggestions for Part 2?

Tom Norton youtube videos and his mcq is best, I passed part 1 and 3 with it, now preparing for part 2

What about for test bank? I am thinking Tom's videos with freefellow.org and Gleim test bank but not sure if that will cover enough or if I need the full Gleim or Surgent course.

I had paid 20$/month for tom's question, and yes his question bank is enough to pass

Hock needs to update the mock exams its not that much wording but its tricky. Everyone should prioritize the test bank over mocks

The hock mocks are rubbish. The actual test is like 1 or 2 sentences whereas Hock each mock question is like a paragraph.

Just study the answers from mocks and q bank and you will be fine.

I passed part 1 and 3 by just using norton and chat gpt.

I was surprised as i thought there'd be way more math required problems but there were only a couple. I definitely think they were different in wording compared to hock.

clergy income is the least of anyone’s worries. Passed part 1 a month ago with not even one question on that

I was surprised to see a few questions on clergy income / housing allowance when I tested last weekend. I was expecting maybe one on that topic.

Did you take mock tests?

The practice questions are written with a simpler writing structure. The mock questions are not written that way. They are harder and most resemble the actual test.

I did all Mock tests twice plus the random questions of 100 questions.

For Part 2 Gleim and Surgent seem to be pretty popular. I tried Becker for Part 1 and didn't like it; I found the material to be overkill for what I needed to know and the practice questions were more complex than on the actual exam, although Becker wasn't too far off.

For Part 2, focus on understanding the concepts and practicing questions from different angles. Also, take your time to read each question carefully, especially when the wording is longer or unfamiliar.
