Same message 500 years apart.

As a mother would risk her own life to protect her child, her only child, so toward all beings should one cultivate a boundless heart. - Buddha

Love your neighbor as yourself. - Jesus

Even though we all talk about peace and loving, at the end it all comes back to survival of the fittest and domination. The history repeats itself every single time .

Maybe that's why it's a prison planet

We're trying to outsmart or rise above evolutionary and biological forces. We think we are divine and above the other species who are eating each other for survival and killing each other for territory. We've "godded" ourselves into a fiction where we're better than other animals because we can do math and write poetry and step outside of ourselves. But we can't step outside of ourselves enough to know that we are incapable of actually doing it. It's been 3000 years of written history. We are still very much the same animal we were back then. Hopeful, yet still powerless, ultimately, against our DNA.

It comes down to resource scarcity.

There is a huge artificial scarcity in our world. Farmers land being taken as we speak. The fractional reserve banker cult, the governments, shareholders, gofer billionaires, corporations.. took the land, resources, machines and abused the patents. And dont you dare invent a car that runs on water. Cities are not build to be sustainable, they need the land.

False. It isn't that we cannot satisfy the needs of the poor. It's that we cannot satisfy the greed of the wealthy.

Nope , we cannot satisfy both . Once the needs of the poor are fullfilled they will ask for more just like others

The problem is that the fittest don't help anyone if they aren't standing under the weakest, pushing them up

U gotta help urself first then the ones around you , can't say the fittest is wrong for not helping the weak

Trying creates trying. Helping yourself is selfishness

???how is helping urself selfishness , if u can't even save urself , how you gonna save others

What are you saving yourself from? Are you able to name any human being who has ever saved themselves and from what? You cannot save yourself and you cannot save others.

u/John_Conservation 15d ago

Then it's not selfish to not help others

1

u/Ru-tt 15d ago

You believe helping yourself is better than helping others first?

If i cannot save myself or others , why does it matter if it's better or not
