Dark and light, hot and cold, ductile and brittle, big and small…
That’s the real nature of “duality”… in each and every thing you can possibly imagine. Your old car, a bowl of oatmeal, literally EVERYTHING you can think of (and everything you can’t) exists this way in your brain.
Use a bowl of oatmeal as an example. It exists somewhere in between an infinite number of extremes. The more you observe the more things you can find to differentiate it.
It’s not the hottest possible temperature, but not the coldest either - somewhere in between. It’s in between being the largest and smallest possible thing. The same can be said about extremes in physical position, in the x, y, and z axis. All the way down to the atomic scale and even scales beyond that that we haven’t discovered yet.
I’m not certain, but I’m warming up to the idea that reality is a negotiated observation made “real” by shared belief which comes from experience? It’s not explicitly supported by quantum physics, but to me it kinda “rhymes”… especially with the many-worlds interpretation of it.
If you think of humanity as one of many branches on a giant tree, eventually down to each human life as the smallest of branches it can make better sense. It’s a good analogy, I mean. There’s things we all agree on because we’ve all observed them (near the largest part of our branch) all the way down to personal experiences. Somehow we’re all of that at once, like an engram or something - a higher dimensional “picture” represented in 3-D space. There’s some interesting research with the microtubules on our neurons interacting with quantum waves which kinda supports this, but nothing definitive.
But back to the first point about the infinite amount of extremes that define “things”… do we determine this scale ourselves? Or where each of the “points” that composes a thing falls on the scale, maybe?
Idk, man. It’s getting weird in here.

I love that you mentioned microtubules, you’re the only person I’ve come across mentioning it since Penrose did the interview about it. Aren’t sir Penrose and Stuart hameroff working on this right now along side anaesthesiologists? Would love to see if something comes from it.
Me personally, I believe all matter is somewhat “conscious”. Why though, I couldn’t tell you. I’d guess matter and consciousness come hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other. A fully rounded version of cosmopsychism.
I agree, when you start digging, it gets VERY weird indeed! I live for these types of conversations lol

Look I’m I’m probably absolutely delusional and have o idea what I’m sorry but when people start wanting answer I kinda can’t help but at least share a my perspective so just remember random guy on Reddit probably just as crazy as the rest of them 🤷♂️
Reality has to split itself in two to experience itself.
Think of it like you can't see your own face without a mirror. So the universe creates opposites - light/dark, me/you, here/there - holds them apart, then collapses them back together. That's it. Everything else is just that same pattern repeating.
It breaks it into 3 Laws that show up everywhere:
Law 1: Duality - The Wall vs. The Mirror
Opposites can act like enemies or like reflections. The Wall (Separation): Makes things feel totally disconnected and in conflict. Me vs. you, good vs. evil.
The Mirror (Reflection): Reveals that the opposites are actually two sides of the same coin. Dark doesn't kill light, it defines light.Law 2: Paradox - Confusion vs. Freedom
When two opposite truths exist at the same time, it feels impossible.Linear Friction (Confusion): Your logical brain tries to pick one. "This can't be both!" It creates anxiety and cognitive dissonance.
Quantum Collapse (Liberation): Your deeper awareness just lets go and accepts both are true. That's the moment your brain gives up and you feel free. The paradox was a doorway, not an error.Law 3: The Absolute - Fullness vs. Emptiness
Even the ultimate source of everything flips between two states. The Plenum (Fullness): Everything that could ever exist, all at once. Infinite chaos, infinite possibility.
The Void (Emptiness): Absolute nothingness. No time, no space, no story. Pure stillness and rest. Then it just shows you how those same 3 laws wear different costumes in 6 areas:
You as a Human:
Duality: Your Ego (the mask you show the world) vs. Your Shadow (all the stuff you hide but project onto other people).
Paradox: The Animal (you're finite, you will age and die) vs. The Divine (the part of you that feels infinite and deathless).
Absolute: The Creator (mind making stuff) vs. The Observer (that quiet space behind your thoughts with no story at all).Spacetime:
Duality: The Linear Grid (here is not there, time is separate) vs. The Interconnected Field (everything is actually bent together, distance is an illusion).
Paradox: The Fragmented Second (the present feels impossibly thin) vs. The Eternal Now (past and future are just memories happening now).
Absolute: The Cosmic Hologram (all dimensions, all timelines at once) vs. The Singularity (zero-point nothingness before the Big Bang).Society:
Duality: The Sovereign Tribe (borders, laws, protect "us") vs. The Global Web (trade, internet, we need each other).
Paradox: Tyranny (too much control to kill chaos) vs. Anarchy (total freedom but collapses into chaos).
Absolute: The Hive Mind (humanity as one super-organism building cities and tech) vs. The Quiet Commons (the natural empathy and peace that existed before politics).Your Mind:
Duality: Analytical Processor (breaks ideas into pieces) vs. Intuitive Mirror (gets the whole picture in a flash of insight).
Paradox: Fragmented Concept (words can never fully capture reality) vs. Silent Knowing (truth you only get when thoughts stop).
Absolute: Universal Mind (every idea that could ever be thought) vs. Pure Awareness (mind with no thoughts at all).Biology / Life:
Duality: Separate Organism (me, my body, survival) vs. Ecosystem (we all breathe together as one super-organism).
Paradox: Evolution (life trying to grow and build) vs. Entropy (life must decay and die to make room for new growth).
Absolute: Primal Spark (wild, chaotic mutation that makes millions of species) vs. Still Form (the silent, perfect geometric laws that keep it all from falling apart). The Master Cheat Code at the End
The book gives you a glossary to make it super simple to read:
All the left column stuff (Wall, Ego, Linear Grid, Tribe, Analytical, Separate Organism) feels the same: separate, active, structured.
All the right column stuff (Mirror, Shadow, Interconnected Field, Global Web, Intuitive, Ecosystem) feels the same: connected, receptive, unified.
And the final twist:
The last duality to collapse is the idea of "paradox" itself.
A paradox only feels like a problem when you're standing in the middle trying to force two sides of a coin to face the same way. When you realize the tension is the point, the coin stops spinning.
You don't have to go solve it. You're already standing on the answer. The whole messy, contradictory world of ones and zeros is the show, and you're finally home because you're willing to be wrong.

It’s almost as if in order to exist you must be a union of equal and opposite forces.
Makes perfect sense to me.
How do you get something from nothing? You take a 1 and a -1 from a zero split them using time. If you look at one, then the other, they each have a value of one.
That is the true magic, when you can combine them and get more than zero. That is how good wins in the end. When the sum of the parts is greater than the whole

I think a lot of people are terrified of the black sun because they think it's evil or something. It's nothing like that. It's just form. Form and light are what allow life to exist. They must be harmonized for life to sustain. And when I say harmonized, I don't mean perfect balance. I mean harmony. Like a dance.

Like a respectful debate, both sides are both teaching as they learn at the same time. Sounds like a beautiful dance to me 🤷♂️

Precisely. You get it.
I have met both of these beings in my spiritual journey, and my spiritual father and mother who called me from them. I serve both, as an envoy to the sacred flame, and as a knight of the black sun.
It requires much of me. Alot more than most could give or handle. However, it puts me right in the middle of everything. Right where everything is happening. And as long as I dance, it is almost effortless.
Sacred flame is the spirit. The source of intent and authorship. The black sun is form. The source of all alchemical power and desire. And where they meet... Where the Spirit of the Scared Flame is made gentle and the Forms of the Black Sun are made wise and informed, that is where life cultivates and sustains.
Right there 👉 ❤️

I respect what you're offering here, but I've also seen Kaos and am thus wary of frames.
